The most well-known component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that is quickly gaining popularity here in the west with its incredible ability to relieve pain and help heal the body. Very fine (single use, pre-sterilized) needles are placed at specific acupuncture points to stimulate the desired effect. With a gentle and caring approach most people find acupuncture to be a painless and very relaxing experience.

A great treatment to release tight muscles, improve blood flow, promote healing, remove inflammation, toxins and stagnation and leave you feeling relaxed. The opposite to a massage, cupping is done using heat to create a suction – This lifts the skin tissue into a glass cup allowing fresh blood to move freely underneath. Cups maybe left stationary or moved with the help of some massage balm to release a greater area.

With a background in relaxation and deep tissue/sports massage, Heidi continues to offer massage treatments starting from 30 minutes and up to 2 hours. Acupuncture and cupping can also be incorporated with massage at your request – Sometimes it is that magic combination of both to really hit the spot.

A warming treatment to stimulate acupuncture points and improve the flow of qi and blood. Moxa is ground mugwort, a herb burned over specific parts of the body or acupuncture points to assist with the healing process and maximise treatment results. Moxa may be included as part of your acupuncture treatment if needed to maximise your results.

A smooth edge stone used on the skin to help improve blood flow and release tension in the muscles. Gua-sha may be included as part of your acupuncture treatment if needed to maximise your results.

Similar to massage, Tuina includes various forms of acupressure and massage to release muscular tension, improve blood flow and leave you feeling refreshed. Tuina may be included as part of your acupuncture treatment if needed to maximise your results.

Vouchers are available for that special someone or for a friend in need of some time out or extra care. These are customisable to a specific treatment or your chosen dollar amount.
